Let me qualify this article by saying I am an Ironman. So this isn’t just some feel good crap I’m making up out of no where. Now I wanna be straight: many of us who run races like the Ironman do it partly because we feel inadequate. And that is a bad place to approach anything from.
I really want to lose weight. And get in great shape. You can probably relate. I went from 256 to 238 in 3 weeks which I felt proud of but my daily range was so high in terms of weight fluctuation. The last time I tried to get in shape I started running 1 mile every day and getting in the gym a few times a week. It paid off until 1.5 months in I had a strained hip area and could barely get in and out of my car. I’m 40 so I think this is relatable.
