How to Prepare a NASA Grant

Hello and welcome back! If you recall, the plan has been to apply for a NASA Grant. Let’s pick up where we left off.

If you have never applied for a NASA grant before that is ok. This screen basically has 5 sections that need to be filled out. In my case, budget isn’t necessary, so we’ve not recorded it. Now, in order to hit the target date of submission, we have to do more than just write a notice of intent. We drafted the proposal summary already but we can break down each section to observe what it is and what we might do to complete it.

Proposal Summary

The goal of this project is to advance our understanding of how Mars's atmospheric and surface conditions affect water resources and energy generation potential--critical factors for future Mars exploration missions. Specifically, the tool will enable researchers to analyze data related to investigate the distribution and accessibility of water resources across various Martian terrains along with energy generation capabilities on Mars as a function of terrain and atmospheric clarity.
