Digital Athlete Challenge Day 13

Today I got to tour part of Norway in my exploration with Wahoo’s Systm app. I also ran a track for my Nike recovery run in Zwift.

If I’m being honest, I didn’t complete any of the sessions. Today is busy and I felt doing an hour of yoga would enabled me to recover faster and stay in these experiences beyond my 14 day trial.

They are that good. And not feeling like we have to finish to important. Being an athlete and human is really about what we want to attain with the resources we have but also watching life unfold beyond the lens through which we perceive our attempts to attain an outcome.

Before I started this 14 day experience, I took 4 weeks to complete Nike Run Club’s intro to running course. I’ve been running a long time but I came back to the basics to unlearn it all and start as a true beginner of the practice.

And when I did — I saw beyond my self imposed rule of success: the finish line, the time duration, the letter grade, the approval of peers, etc.

You know what got me out of bed today? The chance to spend 10 minutes in Norway, thanks to Wahoo and the ability to be on a track thanks to Zwift.
