What an era for sports innovation! Here are the highlights:

  1. Nike Run Club 5K training had a 10 minute run for me. I smiled and cried on the run because of how good the coaching was — and I’ve been on this run before.
  2. Wahoo Systm coached me into positive thinking. I’ve been in a rut the last few years but they got in my brain. They mentioned afferent neurons yesterday on the Knowledge podcast. Just making note of that here when I come back for my editorial pass. You should know how your earth suit works. I’m here to help, later. And coming up, Wahoo is going to teach me style AND take me through a tour of Norway. Something you should know: my dog’s name is Oslo and I ran an ultramarathon through Fjiords in Tromso. So yeah — I’m a huge fan of Norway. I’d move there if given the chance.

3. Zwift doesn’t fit my traditional performance-centered world view of cycling, and that is a good thing. I was about to discontinue my monthly subscription with them. Then I meditated on day one the three course part on Creativity by Headspace.
